@coachemupsmitty @TSSAA Kids are not at a disadvantage. Kids can continue to train and workout on their own if they choose to. Every level of athlete takes time off. Let kids be kids for two weeks during summer if that’s what they choose to do.

2 weeks dead period is insane btw and needs to be re evaluated @TSSAA. Ask any strength coach around about the principle of reversibility. We are behind as a state in football compared to our border states. Disadvantage to our kids

@CoachTManes @rob_l53 Unfortunately its moving that way, some schools still have a lot of coaches in the building. I think u get the most out of guys in the building because you can build that relationship in the off season especially if workouts are during the school day.
