My old SGI Challenge L - now donated to McManus Galleries. Created some awesome network code on this that was used as the core to the #GameMakerStudio networking API and debugger. Some of it might even still be in there! 12xR10000, 64bit CPUs with 768 MB RAM.

Here you can hear playing a Playstation SPU with Vab Editor. The Preview window let you play the pianoroll with the mouse. H800 installed on win95. A dac converting the out from the Kit to the line in. Really want to play the piano roll with midi, but that still not working..

@CombyLaurent1 before trying anything i would start install the sdk on a win98 setup connect the kit the Adaptec scsi controller and run the diagnostic tool to see anything is working.

About the dump of a DC Dev Kit I have a working Linux machine with a SCSI card, now, I connect the dev kit but cannot see the drive anywhere. Do you know if I need a Windows machine with the SDK installed instead or if I need the terminators for the unused connectors?

@Jackhead_ASG As in I've not heard of the brand of yours, I see it on the adapter box.

my solution for using new USB Maus/Keyboard without PS2 protocol. Its a active USB to PS2 adapter, and it works fine even on DOS! Downside RGB keyboards and mouse need some extra power the PS2 port cant handle. Fixed with two active USB hubs. Not really the best but its working..

@HI_Ricky that make sense. I will give it a try today. Another thing i notice, when i power on the pc the hdd dont start spinning, it starts when the h2700 init on boot. Not sure that is correct. I guess the jumper setting on the hdd need some changes.

After no luck with a SCSI Emu i setup the SN CD-Emu with a 4GB IBM SCSI that was in the manual confirmed to working with the SN board. But still trouble when uploading data. Someone here maybe work with that back in the days? CDBios loaded fine.

Some Stats. I run Prime95 for 20min max core temp 40*, idle i run something like 25-30*. My board has a FSB133 jumper Mod, but still not decided to test it with such expensive CPU..

Final setup guys! The Audigy is out, for that a Roland MPU401-AT in with yucatan FX Midi board. That let my play most of Dos stuff with finest Midi on Win98! As Soundblaster the emu on the MX300 works really nice. For Win stuff A3D.

today i will get an terminator to install this queen of Pentium3 into my system. The G2 Noctuas are insane. So much airflow and at same time silent.

bought an upgrade for my Xeon build. I plan running this CPU on my Asus XG DLS single core. SL4XY with 900MHz 2MB L2 cache. Very rare and expensive one. I think the coolest Pentium 3 ever made.

@Friendship718 for cooling it has many pros to use a newer case. One big pro its near silent system. All Fans controlled. The G2 from noctua are really good.

@TheAvokadoMan Yes i can boot from it. Its a SIL3114 Chip flashed to Satalink. Than you boot from it nonraid.

Here the boards i choose for my year 2000 mashine. Strange God Voodoo 5 6000 + Monster Sound MX300 for A3D, Audigy 2 ZS for EAX and a Sata PCI adapter for the SSDs.
