Most controversial thing I ever tweeted. And I admit that apparently I was wrong on the main point. It's very clear from the reaction that most people actually do think that the hype is warranted, so the creator reactions were genuine.

@BradfordFoxx @StumpyGoblin Oh okay that’s fine so after the kickoff it’s a bit hard to tell from the players POV but the bot is chaining wavedashes in such a way that it is able to wavedash multiple times without having to jump off the floor. It’s a lot more obvious in the goal replay

@Jackilichous @StumpyGoblin No, but I’m a basic “casual” rl player. Like gold/plat level. I just try to play no where near amazing. But it’s fun as hell.

@StumpyGoblin I’ve never understood it. I call that the torpedo kickoff. Players do that all the time to me and they never get the first hit. Makes no sense.
