While mammograms are important in detecting breast cancer, biopsies may also be necessary for diagnosis. The Jackson Imaging Center is unique in providing quick appointments for biopsies, reducing the wait time and anxiety following an abnormal mammogram.

During Breast Cancer Awareness Month, it's important to know when to start yearly mammograms. These guidelines are for women with an average risk of breast cancer. 💕 Age 40-44: every year (optional) 💕 Age 45-54: every year 💕 Age 55+: every other year
