Our new paper is officially out! neurology.org/doi/10.1212/NX… We found that MIF contributes to peripheral immune cell infiltration to the CNS in disease. When MIF's tautomerase domain was mutated, sick mice were protected against neuronal inflammation, gliosis, and neurodegeneration.
