In Week 1, I created my own cartoon introducing myself and said something interesting about myself. In Week 2, I learned about learning theories and wrote a post about constructivism. In Week 3, I took on a challenge and performed a verse of a German song. #EM203Robin

Throughout the first 3 weeks of EM203 I have found learning about education in a digital age to be very interesting. I enjoyed learning about the different types of learning theories discussed in lesson 2. I am looking forward to the rest of the course! #EM203Robin

@EM203mont I’m with you on that! I find that I tend to learn best when there is some sort of visual aspect included in my learning. Learning about multitasking was interesting, and I agree that I learn better when I can focus on one task at a time.

#EM203Robin has taught me about learning in a digital age and how teaching has profoundly changed overtime. For instance, The 3M’s showed me how visual learning aids can help teaching over just simple bodies of texts. Additionally, I also learnt I really enjoy Multitasking.

@EM203rmehta I really enjoyed learning about the constructivism theory too. I’ve noticed I never learn effectively by just re-reading my notes. But when I can explain a topic to someone else and stay actively engaged in the process, that’s when I find I really understand the material.

So far in #EM203Robin I've learned about learning theories, the 3M's and how people learn in the digital age. Most interestingly I learned that the constructivism theory is a theory that explains that learners actively construct knowledge rather than just listening to information

@EM203MayaL That’s awesome! I’ve also been learning a lot. Given how powerful technology is, I’m glad we’re exploring how it can be integrated into education. I’m excited to see what else we’ll be exploring.

@EM203MohamedAym I have also found it really interesting to learn about the different ways people learn. I’m the same way. Learning by doing works best for me, and practicing things on my own is how I find I really absorb information.

So far, #EM203Robin has taught me a lot. My biggest takeaway was how many different learning approaches there are. I learnt a lot about learning by doing, which is the belief that pupils learn best by applying the things they read about in class in real life.

I've really enjoyed exploring the different ways people learn. I resonated the most with learning by doing, which I used while learning to box. Through repeating various punches and combinations, I was able to develop a solid skill set in boxing. #EM203Robin
