A Severe Thunderstorm is moving into Beauregard this morning with winds of 60 mph and quarter size hail. The storm will impact areas near Merryville, DeRidder, Singer.

Storms are below severe limits at the moment, but still packing a punch across Beauregard and Allen Parishes. Winds of 50 mph and small hail are possible as the line pushes east at 30 mph.

Strong storms are continuing to push across Vernon and Beauregard Parishes this morning. Winds of 40 mph and pea size hail are possible with the storm. We'll continue to track the latest inside your KPLC First Alert Weather App.
