@Riigeers @CamDonDuncan The head butt hadn’t happened when Cameron initially tweeted. His point should stand for both incidents, hence why I said the head butt is a disgrace “as well”. I didn’t disregard the kick. Poor refereeing indeed. You can talk about both major talking points in one place 🤷🏻‍♂️

For the record this has nothing to do with me being a Wigan fan. If that had been the other way around and Liam Marshall had kicked out studs first in that way… I’d also be saying it’s a blatant red card. That’s not rugby league, it’s not a mistimed tackle, it’s a disgrace.

@akickinthepunt @CamDonDuncan Alarming for KR. They’ll struggle to sustain any kind dominance, like we saw with Cas. Leeds, Saints and Wigan have a conveyer belt and provide the blue print for how to do it. Though it’s impressive the additional number Wigan and Leeds produce for the wider league.

@CamDonDuncan Why is it alarming? We’ve a grading system that puts no focus on player pathways but rewards LED screens, social media followings and how many people live in the town you’re located in. Why would you invest in that when you could throw money at a team and get IMG points?

There are multiple clubs (including Bradford who haven’t been in SL for years) yet have produced more talent for the competition than the current champions. That’s alarming.

@CamDonDuncan @WiganRL1 In that scenario the club has a level of control. They can see the numbers of players on the pitch. They make the subs, they pull players off the pitch etc. Officials are not solely responsible for subs, its done with the teams. This means there is a mutual responsibility

@WiganRL1 @CamDonDuncan You’re not wrong, I can agree silly people would call for same. But I reiterate, those thinking a club is to blame and deserves punishment is bizarre. I’d feel the same if it was you guys. Unless clubs are strangely more involved in the process than what I am aware of 🤷🏻‍♂️

@WiganRL1 @CamDonDuncan No because the club isnt in control in the scenario 🤣 Furious it happened, yes. Wanting points deductions/fines, no. Fielding 14 players can be known and prevented Sin bins are timed and controlled by the match officials. Blaming a club is bizarre.

@CamDonDuncan Nice idea, but why those fixtures? Why not: 1) Leeds vs Saints 2) KR vs Wigan 1. Most grand final wins between the two. History of the 4 GF losses/wins in 5 years 2. Recent dominance. Back to back grand finals. Grand slam vs treble Both easily marketable and bigger rivalries
