the use of distant, echo-y classic rock songs in movie trailers is so played out it actually turns me off to seeing the movie. 6 trailers in front of Disclosure Day and only the new Statham did not have that stupid shit playing over it.

@Cjm884 @Ozymetsdias There is no such thing as final bid when the sole decision is about winning… Like with Diaz…the money made no difference because playing on the Dodgers means winning and the Mets means losing If the Mets offered him 300M/5 he still signs with the Dodgers for less to win

It's just a *bit* hard to envision the Mets asking Kodai Senga to move into the rotation right now. In his latest Triple-A start today, Senga went: 5 IP, 6 H, 3 ER, 2 BB, 5 K. He hit two batters and threw two wild pitches, topping out at 95.7 mph. Senga has a 5.25 ERA on rehab.

@Cryler__ 100M+ is on the injured list… So at least when Polanco/Lindor/Holmes return…I think we’ll end not last in the division. But if anyone beats the Braves in the NL East they haven’t shown it

The fact that we may not just miss the post season but literally be at the bottom of our division with one of the highest payrolls... Like what do we do? The old core wasn't working. The stop gap signings to build the farm back up have legit played the worst ball of the careers

I've avoided piling on Semien partly because he's been good w/RISP but the overall numbers are stunningly bad. No less glaring - D metrics aren't always a perfect measure, but it's hard to ignore that his range, via Statcast, was elite 92nd percentile just last yr - 12th this yr.
