One of the things Jacob incidentally highlights in his final column is the privilege we Zionist Jews have on campus to sit in a room with people who challenge our beliefs, even and especially when it’s most difficult to hear them. While Harvard is being attacked by Trump and the broader American public, what happens on the ground seems to tell a different story — and perhaps we ought to listen to the students who are there. College was never supposed to be easy. True diversity is difficult and uncomfortable. Jacob’s editorial board is and should be a model for student newspapers across the country.

I also modeled what would happen if various different proposals to tax the endowment were enacted. Bottom line: taxes, and @JDVance's proposal in particular, could significantly hurt endowment growth. Over the next decade, the losses would be $3.3 billion in endowment payouts.
