I find it funny to see the excuses cheaters post to justify their behavior.
But if you do this on camera can’t imagine what happens off camera.

The Triomes should really get retired from Vintage Cube. They hardly see play in constructed since the Surveil lands which is a big sign against them for me. I certainly play them sometimes but they don't seem necessary at all anymore. I think 0-2 is right for cube.

(I have 2 land cyclers a 2 drop that surveils and 2 drop that makes treasures, I was worried that I will get ground out vs good grindy sealed decks).

@Nickthos Yea so before RC Portland I played against someone on ladder using the strategy and thought it was worth trying. But I believe the person I queued into was actually a friend of Hannah's also working on the brew for the RC!

When I was naming decklists for the Portland RC this deck stood out. Though she went 5-4, Hannah was about 80-90 percent of the way to playing the deck that had the breakout performance at the Pro Tour.

Glad I found a broken deck. I believe our win rate was 71.8% over the weekend with Spellementals, with 15/15 of us making day 2 and our worst record being 8-8.

One of my favorite moments at the Pro Tour was round 15 at x-5 tables Bob Maher was playing next to my table. He is tapped out, opponent has lethal with steel cutter and a couple spells. Bob is confused for a moment until he learns that the monk tokens have prowess

10-6 at PT Aetherdrift and happy with the start to year. Qualified for both Vegas and Atlanta and probably about 45% qualified for Worlds.
4-2 Draft and 6-4 Standard, hard to complain. I'd say my play this weekend was quite poor, I think I did a poor job sleeping before the event

@JacobNagro oh yikes that's pretty bad, I forgot about that part of zimone. It works if one of the basics is just in their hand instead of in play.
I've also been informed that bend or break has some sneaky errata and that one is not fixable 😢

Also this is the 3rd time I've gone 11-5 at PT where my only losses in constructed where to mirror matches. Though the other 2 where both 9-1 (Eldrazi Tron and Lotus Field)

11-5 PT MH3, 10th place. Very happy with the finish despite the 9-0 start. Very happy with my play overall. Really think the biggest thing I could have improved on was the 2nd draft.
Went 7-3 in constructed where all 3 losses where to Nadu Mirrors (3-3 for me overall)
