@jmthrivept @RealDealFantasy @DrJesseMorse You had me until the target share part. They will be calling for Nagy’s head if he isn’t targeted a ton with the overwhelming weapons outside of him in the passing game

I’ve seen both ends of the extreme, from @RealDealFantasy saying this is no big deal at all to @DrJesseMorse saying it could be a 15 month recovery. Realistically, Malik Nabers had been able to push his rehab fairly aggressively but with altered mechanics up to this point, particularly with limited full knee extension that likely delayed his full quad activation from coming back. So no, the scar tissue needing to be debrided was not “no big deal”. However, it’s also not a death sentence for his 2026 season and 5 months from the 2nd surgery to week 1 is a VERY long time to now fully restore normal mechanics, regain full quad strength and progress into plyometrics, deceleration training, and return to sport. Even with the 2nd surgery I would say Nabers being active Week 1 is still within possibilities, but we should still plan on him starting on PUP as a conservative timeframe in general off of the ACL+meniscus repair + cyclops removal. My guess is still that he misses 4-6 weeks at the most, with a range of being active anywhere from Week 1 to Week 7 (mid-late October). Either way, his ADP is still too high with the negative factors being: 1. Coming off of ACL+meniscus repair+ scarring will inevitably negatively impact his early season/midseason production from his norm 2. Brian Daboll is not there to funnel an elite target share his way, and we shouldn’t expect that to be the case with Matt Nagy calling plays Still fading at cost at this time.

Pelissero on Nabers: - 5 months from cleanup surgery to W1 - Comments are positive: “seems like everything’s on track”, “wouldn’t push panic button”, “hope is still that he is ready to roll week 1”, “does not sound like this is cause for great concern” podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/the…

@SuperrNova38 @Colin_McT Yeah I’m not watching a 16 minute schedule release video haha. Chiefs with Rob Riggle is great and Chargers is solid with Halo. Raiders step brothers slant is interesting

@DraftSharks Higgins will need a substantial jump in routes/gm and efficiency from his paltry 21.4 routes/gm and 1.45 YPRR last year. 😳 But he was among a small but intriguing group of big, fast rookie WRs with round 1-2 draft capital in the last decade. 😮

@FantasyPicasso @inglut We know very little what these guys do in their private lives on a daily basis. Him getting help before it got out of control was great to see.

You’d be a fool to draft this guy in any format. Same with Joe Mixon. They gone.

@FantasyPicasso @inglut Puka makes no sense. Guy voluntarily went to a facility to improve who he is as a person. Makes me feel better about him tbh. Rice has been arrested multiple times and hasn’t played a full season

It is May 8th and no one associated with Malik Nabers or the New York Giants has really said anything positive about him playing in Week One. What’s the deal there? I’m not loving the vibes

@Sventhundep5556 @JackieD76854774 @thorku Moss is the most talented and should’ve been far and away the best ever but things like his 2nd season in Oakland is why it’s impossible to see him as the best ever for me

@JacobParr2 @JackieD76854774 @thorku Agree to disagree. He was useless in Oakland because they sucked and he didn’t want to be there. He went to the pats and no one could cover him. Again.

@Djedi_Master @SantaMonicaMM @thorku Yeah poor Jerry struggled without Montana and Young: That last stat is the wild one. Over a full 16-game season pace, Rice without either QB projected to roughly: * 79 catches * 1,399 yards * 14 TDs

Go look at the QBs and coaches Randy Moss played with throughout most of his career. Vince Young, Kerry Collins, Brad Johnson Kaepernick. Hell, Moss was so good he made Culpepper look like an MVP. And then look at the 2 years he had Brady throwing him the ball, when they broke every offensive record that ever existed, including going 16-0. You think it makes a difference having all time greats throwing you the ball? The fact that Moss’ stats are even in the same universe as Rice, is pretty remarkable when you think about it.

@JackieD76854774 @thorku Best WR ever. Not close. He knew more about ball than 98% of players ever played. Just a super freak of nature. So glad I got to watch him work.

@WyattB_FF Could start slower coming off the injury and they may want to limit his touches early would be the primary concern- if he lost some lateral movement that could hurt early

In my initial run of projections Cam Skattebo was a top 10 RB, and I’m not sure how I feel about it. Even accounting for some efficiency dip due to injury return, his usage as a rookie before injury was as good as we could ask for, and I don’t see why that would change.

@Colin_McT @chu__dog Just feel Black has the best chance to be an absolute zero or league winner of anyone you are getting at that point. Randall i don’t see how he is ever more than a 3rd down back at some point in his career (not sure how he gets on the field right now besides kick return)

@Colin_McT @chu__dog Not sure that helps or hurts that the owner made the pick haha. Hill is just great in pass pro- Randall is horrendous in pass pro. Not that he can’t improve but they aren’t putting him out there much until it is. Ali is also at least average in pass pro
