One of the biggest QB mindset shifts I ever had… At USC, we read full coverage to dictate the throw (old school, like Kirk explains). At Pitt, the progression was tied to the boundary safety. When I got there I was like… this is wayyyy easier. But like Kirk says, streamline too much and you leave yourself vulnerable because you don’t learn defensive nuance.
