Arlington boys basketball defeated reigning Section 1 Class AAA champion Mount Vernon tonight 49-45 in their holiday invitational. It’s the first win for @Admirals_bball in program history over Mount Vernon. The Admirals are for real.

Player Highlight- NERR Championship Jacob Jerome, 2025 (Arlington HS) Kid shined this weekend. Showcased his ability to slow tempo, but also be able to speed it up. His ability to get downhill and score through contact while also having this incredibly confident jump shot off the dribble, he is a multi level scorer. Had multiple 20 point games this weekend, 10+ assist games this weekend, and did so while leading this team to 5-0. A winner. A culture guy. Someone who, I can assure you, will make people better. 📈 📈 Film to follow this week!

Our 2 champions from this weekend!! 8th boys in a great showing in their championship game Vs a team they lost to earlier in the weekend! Proud of this group and Coach Redendo. Our 11th ZGXL goes 5-0 in 2 hard fought battles in the semis and the finals today at NERR in Boston.
