@ClayLaSoul I think a lot of people come in with a preexisting bias against MLS and work backwards from that to justify it. No one is being forced to watch the league. But the two most popular teams in the NBA and MLB originated in other cities. It's just not a primary factor

@Jacob_Shames It’s also not particularly true of MLS compared to other American sports when you account for the fan movements that laid the groundwork ahead of league interest, especially in former lower league markets or a place like Philly.

MLS franchises are not woven into the fabric of communities... they are just air dropped into a city with no true & organic connection. People & communities are the are the heart and soul of football/soccer clubs around the world. This is why MLS is ignored by most USA ⚽️ fans.
