Trump Always Chickens Out.. he threatened iran's power grid last week.. markets crashed $2 trillion.. he walked it back by monday morning and said "talks are going great".. the clock is still running.. he isn't.

@inxfernal I didn’t really start collecting until the tcg phone game came out, didn’t realize how fun it was collecting when I thought it was all just stuff for the actual card game, regret not starting sooner, now I’m roped in as a tourist, despite watching the shows and playing the games.

I don’t think the market will necessarily crash, but as everything - we will see a giant shift in collecting. Pokemon is “cool” right now, but it won’t always be as it wasn’t always. People are trying to dip their toes in the water, and I’m seeing so many “how do I get into pokemon” tweets lately. For me it’s never been, you’re either into it or you aren’t. It would be nice to see the hype die down a little bit so the average collector and pokemon fan (the ones without padded pockets) can appreciate the hobby again.
