I'd argue it's not "Liquidity" but TRANSPARENCY that matters MOST for consumer protection🛡️
Liquidity without transparency is a trap. It sells the illusion of safety while hiding the actual mechanics that decide if you get filled cleanly… or completely rekt.
Private orderbooks (the classic CEX model) are fundamentally broken for real protection. They force you to trust that the exchange isn’t front-running you, manufacturing depth, hiding toxic flow, or quietly manipulating the book.
Orderbook audits, including from you as a key player, specifically the one on October 10th, which literally REKT the markets, is a must for TRUST 🛡️
When the lights came on, markets got wrecked — not from lack of liquidity, but from revealed opacity. That’s the fatal flaw of private books: they look solid until they’re forced to show their hand. ⚠️
On-chain orderbooks, AMMs, and CLMMs change the game completely. They don’t ask for trust — they make verification automatic. Every order, every match, every attempt at manipulation is visible and auditable in real time. 🪩
PS: There is sufficient liquidity and security in the current EU markets for retail investors 🇪🇺. Institutions can continue OTC
