Date: September 1st, 1985 Wow! I used Argo today and found the wreck of the R.M.S. Titanic. It was 12,000 feet deep!

Date: 1966 Jacques created what he calls streamlined scuba.. Allows for faster swimming and longer underwater🌊

Date: 1985 Completed my first search robot... I'm naming it Argo😏

Jacques explained to me that an aqua lung is a "self contained underwater breathing apparatus".. Whatever that means💁

@JacquesCoust so it's remotely-controled robotic cameras that explore the ocean & send their info to the surface through fiber optic wires

Developing this new exploration technology that I will call "telepresence," I'll explain later...

Just figured out that ocean water is cycled through the earth's crust, changing its mineral composition in the process. All makes sense now!

@JacquesCoust Update!!! We now call these worms "riftia". They can grow up to 10 feet long!
