The Times Daily came today to do a story at school, but the best part was they taught the kids about photography and how to use a fancy camera. It’s moments like these that make Weeden so special.

Geometry talk turned Fraction Talk as students made connections on whether or not you could partition these quadrilaterals and triangle in half. It was the perfect lead in to today's lesson! #fcslearn

I just watched @Jada45_ 3rd grade class do an amazing cross curriculum lesson during OCR reading! They were talking about how the temperature in the Gobi Desert temperatures fall 40 degrees below zero. This turned into a quick math lesson! Greater than, less than, and even/odd!

In coaching cycles we plan outcomes, but I was surprised by this outcome! Students moved from leaning to write to loving to write! During the OCR comprehension lesson a student asked his teacher, “Ms. Hughes, can we stop and write about this!” YES YOU CAN! #FCSlearn @Jada45_
