Happy new year lovely people. After 5 years being completely stuck and controlled by #PANS #PANDAS I am grateful that 2025 has seen my boy make so much amazing progress. In particular I am grateful that he has been able to:
* wash and dress daily
* go to the supermarket
* explain what he wants and needs and accept these things
* get a passport
* get a smart phone
* bank account
* do trips with his Sister eg theme park and cinema
* walks in the forest and bike rides
* accept gifts and unwrap presents
* online schooling
* talk about people and plan for his future
* planning a trip and return to school
I never thought we would see this much progress, let alone in 12 months and I’m excited for his star to shine even brighter in 2026.
My wish list for 2026 is pretty simple but pretty big and that’s for me to be back in contact with him and to see him for the first time since Feb 2020 and for him to be back in contact with other family and friends who all miss him so much.
He is happy to be back around strangers but still can’t choose to see anyone from his old life apart from his Mom & Sister who he lives with.
He’s also planning on making a solo trip, going back to school and maybe sitting a GCSE or 2 , all of which would be epic.
Keeping everything crossed for him as well as many other children who are suffering. A reminder that it doesn’t have to be this way. Better awareness and a set of clinical guidelines would help more children avoid losing many years of their childhoods.

my job interview went SO well!!!! they sent me the questions i would be asked prior to interview so was able to really prepare myself. i should hear back early next week 😋😋
