I’m exhausted with sh*t like this. This is the reality for many, many women. This interaction is a very brief snapshot of life being a woman. Every time something like this happens it takes a part of your peace away. You relive it, & adjust your life accordingly. Enough!

At work and I greet this family and I ask them if anything exciting brings them down to stay with us, they responded with A funeral. A fucking funeral. When I say I want the ground to swallow me tf up

Someone told me I HAD to do the thing I was already planning to do, so now I can’t do the thing. I can’t really explain why I can’t do the thing, I just… can’t do the thing.

Imagine sending your child out for dinner with Cubs only for them to feed him pizza, knowing he carries an epi-pen for a dairy allergy. 🙃 Never been so angry.
