@Yugioh_OSRS @JagexSkylark @SaniOSRS @dankapedia Glad to hear we agree on something. Torva as you defend it however was RS3 history, a kit built with texture and a completely different artistic context. It sets a damaging precedent for future BIS kits keeping Torva in that state.

But i hope you understand that we're not here to defend "out of place art" we are here to protect history, Torva feedback should have been handled more accordingly.

@JagexGrub Yeh I understand you're very much in the skeleton phase atm haha. Things I'd probably like to see from sailing are the exploration aspect of it. Finding islands / treasure / lore / cool things through navigating sea puzzles.

During the sailing stream you were talking about the possible Water update. You mentioned "on a clear day..." was that just adding to the example or were you hinting at actual weather in game 🤔? @JagexGrub

@TheTraderStan Haha I had to hold myself back there. We've been talking about it as a rough possibility after the HD tech stack is ready. But it exists as literally just a fun conversation right now, no promises. Just an insight into our blue sky aspiration.

@ScreteMonge I hear you, Looney Tunes isn't the vibe we want. I'll watch this one like a hawk, if once I see that animation come together in engine, and it feels too silly, I'll pivot to something else. @OdouDog referenced the Dumbledoor phoenix scene, it could be as simple as that.

@JagexGrub I do want to be very clear that I don't see it anywhere close to some of RS3's worst incarnations like the one cited! If headbutting rocks is 10 steps past the border, this may have overstepped mine one or two, prompting me to open the wider discussion of where that line is drawn

You want to be careful about animation & model overrides to ensure they still feel fairly grounded and unobtrusive. It's a neat avenue of rewards, you just don't want everything you or other players do to feel unrecognizable or edge on goofy RS3's Headbutt Mining comes to mind

@OdouDog @ScreteMonge Thanks for the feedback Odou, I wouldn't say there's an issue here so much as a variety of tastes and preferences. As stated above, a certain amount of silliness (smoking feet) is well in alignment with OSRS, but there's a line. I'm arguing that the line hasn't been crossed.
