@JeritRoser @LAvsAllYall When you talked about the Louisiana kids that aren’t highly recruited? I think of Jacob Hester.

New LSU coach Lane Kiffin's quote on recruiting Louisiana and the football culture in the state. (@LAvsAllYall) "The high schools here. It's been great going to them and receiving the feedback. I've always enjoyed over time coming here and recruiting. "Just the people. I used to always say: They love football. And everybody says they love football. But the high school coaches here, they love football. They love coaching football. They love coaching the kids. They genuinely care about the kids. Some of that's kind of gotten lost a little bit (in modern sports). So, it's awesome. "I'd love to sign a lot of Louisiana kids. They were on me this week about that and about finding guys that are not just on these lists that people put out and all these things and all the stars, but to go find — because I know over time there's always been great players here that aren't highly recruited. "And a lot of that is because they're really good players, but it's because of their makeup and how they're coached and the way they want to work and they just want to get better. They'll work out as long as they can. So it's been awesome."

Sold a client a $12K onboarding system. 2 months later, he only uses the free bonus I threw in. The bonus? A stock analysis bot I built for my dad in 2 hours. Client just texted me: "That little trading thing you added? I'm up 36% this month. The onboarding system? Still looks as impressive as it did during the trial." I charged him $12K for complex agency automation. He's up 36% this month from a weekend project I gave away free. The psychology is brutal: - We overcomplicate solutions - Clients want simple wins - The side project often IS the product This "bonus" bot: → Finds undervalued stocks automatically → Focuses on $1-10M market caps → Sends buy/sell alerts via Telegram → Zero manual research needed While his competitors are paying Bloomberg $2K/month, he's getting better picks from my dad's retirement toy. The lesson? Your throwaway projects might be worth more than your "real" work. Follow + RT + Reply "BONUS" & I'll send you the bot that's making more money than the actual product I sold. (Still charging $12K for onboarding systems though 😂)

SQL has levels to it: - level 1 SELECT, FROM, WHERE, GROUP BY, HAVING, LIMIT Master these basic keywords and you’ll be well on your way to mastering SQL. - level 2 Mastering JOINs: Most common JOINs: INNER and LEFT Less common JOINs: FULL OUTER Joins you should avoid almost always: RIGHT and CROSS JOIN Mastering common table expressions (CTEs). The WITH keyword defines a CTE which you can imagine as a “variable” that you can query later. Using variables like this you can master algorithm techniques like recursion, breadth first search and more! CTEs also make your SQL much more readable and make your coworkers hate you less compared to nested sub queries. - level 3 Mastering window functions Window functions have 3 pieces: The function (i.e. SUM, RANK, AVG) The over clause to start the window The window definition which has 3 pieces: - how to split the window up with PARTITION BY - how to order the window with ORDER BY - how to restrict the window size with ROWS clause (useful for rolling monthly averages) Understand RANK vs DENSE_RANK vs ROW_NUMBER, I have been asked this in interviews a million times. - level 4 You understand table scans, b-tree indexes, and partitioning schemes to increase performance. Doing something like COUNT(CASE WHEN) is much better than doing multiple queries with a UNION ALL. UNION ALL is terrible for all sorts of reasons that I don’t want to get into in this post. B-trees indexes allow for efficient scanning of data in the WHERE clause. Use explain plans to understand if an index is actually being used or not! Partitioning is similar to indexes except it’s a “poor mans” index. It just keeps data in specific folders and skips the folders that don’t include the data I question. What else did I miss for mastering SQL?

💡 How to model debt? Ensure you know what amount of cash is free for debt repayment. I use a Cash Flow Sweep to make sure excess cash is used to repay debt early, reducing interest costs and boosting financial stability. This is key in LBOs, project finance, and corporate debt structuring. ✅ Debt modeling steps: 1️⃣ Set initial debt assumptions and valuation. 2️⃣ Forecast financial statements (revenue, EBITDA). 3️⃣ Build the cash flow statement to calculate free cash flow (FCF). 4️⃣ Model debt repayment, adjusting interest expenses. Then, start building different debt schedules: revolver, senior, mezzanine. 🚀 Want to dive deeper into this? Drop a comment, and I’ll send you a FREE Excel model to try it out! Sales tracking is useless if you're measuring the wrong things 🚨 Most dashboards hide the trends that actually matter to your bottom line. This sales tracker reveals what others miss: -Hidden growth patterns between quarters -Warning signs months before they affect revenue -Exact comparison points with previous year -Automatic variance tracking 🛑And you can get it for free for the next 48H only 💡 WHY IT MATTERS: Your annual sales total tells you almost nothing about your business's health. This dashboard shows you: → When your sales peak each quarter → Which months consistently underperform → Where you're gaining/losing ground vs last year → How your Q3-Q4 momentum affects annual targets ⚡️ BUILT FOR SPEED: - One-click updates - Automatic calculations - Clear visual indicators - Professional formatting - Instant YoY comparison No complex formulas. No manual updates. Just input your monthly numbers and everything refreshes instantly.
