🚨 Toni Kroos: "Luis Enrique subbed out Ousmane Dembélé, his best player, in the 65th minute of a UCL semi-final, and NOBODY complained. That shows the RESPECT the players have towards the coach. He leaves the pitch, he shakes his coach's hand, and he sits on the bench cheering for his teammates. There are some COUNTER-EXAMPLES to this. You look at Dembele, and how he's yelling at his teammates to keep fighting, from the bench. That's not what 90% of players who think they're stars would do: they start to do bad gestures on the pitch, then sit on the bench sulking." @marca

🚨 BREAKING: Tchouaméni-Valverde FULL STORY: In training on Wednesday morning, the two players were involved in a dispute after Tchouameni took exception to what he felt was an overly strong tackle from the Uruguayan. The dispute continued into the dressing room after the session, and squad members had to step in to de-escalate. On Thursday, Valverde came into the training ground and shook hands with everybody apart from Tchouameni, sources said. In the day’s session, Valverde hit Tchouameni with a series of strong challenges, to which Tchouameni did not react. The training session then saw players divided into two sides. Coaching staff decided to keep Valverde and Tchouameni together, and sources said Valverde made a comment about this to his team-mate — suggesting he was lucky to avoid facing him. After the session, back in the dressing room, Tchouameni then asked Valverde to come over, and Valverde insulted him. Tchouameni then struck the 27-year-old. The two began to tussle and Valverde banged his head on a table, losing consciousness. Valverde was also bleeding, and there was a great degree of concern about his condition in the room, including from Tchouameni. He regained consciousness and was taken to hospital. @TheAthleticFC

From the dressing room, to the pitch, and back to the dressing room, he kept saying it again, and again, and again. Multiple players told Fede to STOP ACCUSING Tchouaméni, but he didn't stop. Arbeloa kept watching and did NOT intervene. @diarioas
