i’m not sure what happened for the devs to completely disregard many of the original concepts for the fatui harbingers but i personally hate the rewritten versions of them. childe’s initial release promised a lot of things that never came to fruition, so it’s natural to be upset

@jelanisrampage They didn't fit the same scheme before either and that was precisely the problem cus that's how we ended up with Yoimiya on Thundering Pulse and Kazuha on Freedom Sworn. Some characters could pull it off but that wasn't worth leaving others ugly weapons

@lezboyaya You’re ignoring the fact that even if a woman does bad actions, it’s glossed over by hoyo while the men have to atone. This isn’t a harbinger issue, hoyo has issues writing women that aren’t 100% good bc the fanbase won’t react well to evil female chrs

@lezboyaya Arlecchino is a groomer 100% but it’s never framed badly because again, she has “noble” reasons. Sandrone cut out the tongue of someone who did something wrong to us in a world quest. Signora is explicitly evil to US and died because of that.

@lezboyaya Out of 4 female harbingers, only 1 can be considered evil. Out of 7 male harbingers, only 1 can be considered good currently, 2 if you count It doesn’t matter if we befriend more men bc the ratio still screws over the women

@Jainkii so far, dottore and signora are the only ones who didn’t get this treatment. and out of the 6 harbingers who are now friends with the traveler, it’s split evenly between men and women. and if they befriend more harbingers, it’ll be mostly men so then your logic would be flawed

@lezboyaya Meanwhile, the only really shady thing Arlecchino did was attack Furina but even that was revealed to be for a noble reason of saving Fontaine from the prophecy. Even her boss fight was to see if the traveler was able to take on later threats. She isn’t portrayed evil ever.

@Jainkii and arle WAS against furina at first, and let’s not forget her sq where we have to fight her. the traveler fights almost all harbingers but ends up their friend in the end

@lezboyaya Let’s not act like Childe was a hero intentionally. He was sent to prison and tried attacking Neuvilette. Nothing was for a good or moral reason traveler explicitly does not like Childe for being a harbinger for a good portion of the story and only really lightens up later on
