A possible replacement in that LCB spot could be Gonçalo Inacio (24) 🇵🇹 A much more progressive CB in the 100th percentile for progressive passes and 84th percentile for progressive carries compared to all defenders in Europes Top 7 leagues 🤯 He has also played 42 or more games in the past 5 seasons for Sporting CP a number that Botman has only matched in 1/4 seasons at #NUFC Additionally he is also naturally left footed allowing him to seemlessly slot into that LCB role

Should Botman still start for #NUFC? I’ve seen a lot of discourse around his name, many saying his injury record and performances last season are the reason they want him replaced.

@DetritusBramble Think most modern managers can change formation based of how the game is going. Fully agree with the brave approach and think we can swallow some teams alive with that press especially at SJP

@JaissleEra Fair play mate. Only going on what I've seen, but I think that was mainly clips from his time at Salzburg. Seems he likes to be brave and attack with lots of numbers in/around the box, but wants most of the width to come from FBs. They all better get on the cardio!

Everyone seems to set these teams up in a 4-2-3-1, but I've seen a few very detailed videos suggesting Jaissle's preference is a 4-4-2 or 4-3-1-2, and crucially with a narrow midfield. Am I missing something?
