Its also just lying if theyre using the generated stuff as portfolio pieces. I see it heavy and its easy to spot in 3d, the AI has absolutely no clue about how to actually topologize the models that it makes. But like its so aggravating the intentional dumbing down and getting people reliant on tech that does what they could do themselves with a little effort

Imagine thinking what makes you a good designer/creative is your technical knowledge of programs. Thats the literal bare minimum. Every designer I ever competed with knew the programs. What stands out is the ideas and execution when using them. AI is just a tool, you are not replacing me. You sloppies will all be exposed by true creatives.

It harkens back to this stupid phrase i kept seeing the techbros saying like "art is in evryones hands now" or something like that, when thats always been the case? Like if you dont put any effort or time into it, no its not gonna be good. But it'll be better to learn to do it over AI doing it. And yes they are tools, but AI wont give them the knowledge of color theory or shading and lighting which, if you know, would make those prompts better, instead of hoping someone has the prompt for you.

You think AI is replacing creativity when really it’s making mediocre output free and abundant, which means taste is now the only scarce resource.
