As a 73 year old 1973 grad of Ole Miss, I’ve followed their teams , good and bad. NIL is getting SO out of hand. I know this is a naive sentiment from an old lady, but wouldn’t it be nice for someone to want to stay with a team out of loyalty to other teammates that made the block or tackle, the sell out crowds or because it’s the right thing. Sure, take the money but don’t look for a better offer.

ND has been delivered a message. A conference strength of schedule is a tie breaker. The B10 and SEC should boycott ND until they join a conference. There is no benefit for B10&SEC teams to add them to their already tough schedules without bringing financial resources to the table.

Listen all you Ole Miss fans need some hard truth. LSU is a premier coaching position, Ole Miss is not. Ole Miss is a stepping stone for good coaches. LSU has the money, the alumni, and the resources of a great program. LSU gave Lane permission to coach Ole Miss in the playoffs, your AD is the one who fucked up. Not letting him coach was truly a stupid move.
