KBJ: "If I steal a wallet in Japan, I am subject to Japanese laws…in a sense, it's allegiance."

@RonDeSantis What do you think they took from the ancients?

I feel awful for every Arkansas fan who didn’t listen to me last year and is still living & dying with every game. You can’t keep doing this to yourself. I’ll tell you when it’s safe to care again. Spoiler alert: without wholesale regime change, it’s not soon.

🎵🎵🎵They've Gone Country 🎵🎵🎵 Over the last year I've had an up-close and personal encounter with the machine that progressives have been building in rural America. Small towns need to start organizing and upgrading our defenses.

1/ I started my career with a bet on distressed multifamily in Florida and Texas based on a Sunbelt macro thesis. We acquired 7,000 apartments within 4 years, and returned >$200mm in profits to investors. At New Founding, we have a new rural & small town thesis. 🧵

I think this is largely true. Monetization of the debt and significant inflation feels inevitable. The big question is whether: 1) legacy regime clients/stakeholders (ie direct and indirect creditors) can shift much of the pain to outside parties, or 2) legacy creditors go down with the system while more productive groups come through the collapse relatively far stronger.

I’m sorry, but I just can’t stand it anymore. This massive, outrageous, pork-filled Congressional spending bill is a disgusting abomination. Shame on those who voted for it: you know you did wrong. You know it.

Poker nights scare me. But somehow they’ve become the default way to “hang” in SF tech. So we started hosting trivia nights instead. Lower barrier; more collaborative. And you still leave with new friends. DM or reply if you want to come to the next one!

Dear Men, No, I do not wish for your shorts to become shorter this summer.

Can we just let private institutions admit and hire the people they want to admit and hire, instead of having the government dictate to them whom they have to accept?

It’s called: “In God We Trust.” Since our founding, America’s leaders — and warriors — have sought God’s providence and protection. We seek to glorify Him as we serve our country. At the Pentagon, we will humbly continue this sacred tradition — each and every month.
