I’m working on a ~50 page grammar booklet for grade 3/4 students. I’m aiming to build knowledge of our science topic ‘Heat, Light & Electricity’, whilst simultaneously practicing TWR principles and reinforcing grammar knowledge that has been explicitly taught.

@edulorechris @NathanielRSwain I could not agree more! The units are amazing - my Grade 3s have been so engaged in thr Viking unit. Their writing has transformed with sentence level work that incorporates the rich vocabulary learnt! 🙌

1/ My experience with a knowledge-rich curriculum. Core Knowledge and the r2L units by @NathanielRSwain have been a game changer in my grade 3/4 classroom. We have been exploring Ancient China whilst reading ‘The Firework Maker’s Daughter’ by Philip Pullman as a novel study.
