The Orioles are adding to their outfield depth, as they’re signing Tommy Pham to a Minor League deal, according to a source. @Alden_Gonzalez was on it first. Pham, 38, is a 13-year MLB veteran. Elected free agency after getting DFA’d by Mets in late April.

Gunnar Henderson on Orioles' bats tonight: "Early on, I felt like we had a lot of really good swings, and obviously the hits didn’t show it, but I loved our at-bats today and obviously we got it going there in the 9th. But all around, I felt like we should have won that game."

Coby Mayo's 7th-inning single had an exit velocity of 116.5 mph, per Statcast. It's the highest exit velo on a batted ball by the 24-year-old in his 140-game MLB career. (Orioles couldn't capitalize as they left runners on 2nd and 3rd when Gunnar Henderson struck out.)

OF Nate George (Orioles’ No. 1 prospect and @MLBPipeline’s No. 69 overall) has been on High-A Frederick’s IL due to an illness. Mike Elias did not disclose the illness, but he said it could be a little bit of time before George returns. Not expected to be too long term of issue.

Orioles’ Mike Elias on Jackson Holliday: “We're hopeful to get Jackson Holliday back soon. He's still getting his groove and getting his feet under him, but I think he's healthy this time. I think that'll help stabilize the [infield] situation.”

Injury updates from Orioles’ Mike Elias: -Jordan Westburg’s Tommy John surgery shouldn’t impact ‘27 timeline too much. Expects him back early next year. -Ryan Helsley (elbow) threw for 1st time today in Washington -Ryan Mountcastle (foot) timeline is “June, pushing into July”

Kyle Bradish and Trevor Rogers are now both part of an exclusive group -- Orioles pitchers to toss 6+ scoreless innings vs. the Yankees with fewer than 2 hits allowed. They joined a pair of Hall of Famers (Jim Palmer and Hoyt Wilhelm), Adam Loewen and Joe Coleman.

Yankees slugger Aaron Judge went 0-for-3 today vs. Kyle Bradish and is now 1-for-14 (.071) with 4 walks and 6 strikeouts lifetime against the Orioles RHP. Judge: "He's a great pitcher. He makes a lot of great pitches. He's using all four of his pitches, each quadrant. Did a good job mixing that fastball in, locating the curveball and slider in big spots when he needed it. "He's kind of had our number the past couple games we've faced him. You've got to tip your cap sometimes when the guy is out there looking like that, but we've got to do a better job when we get pitches out over the heart of the plate."
