We just wrapped up our eighth public, in-person town hall meeting in Blue Earth, where I spent an hour hearing from and speaking with folks about investing in our small towns, lowering healthcare costs, and addressing concerns around data centers.

Thank you to everyone who came to our public town hall!

Nearly 100 people showed up in a town of ~750 people to ask important questions about the absurdly high cost of healthcare, the data centers and power lines popping up across southern Minnesota, and the tragic loss of 18 service members and tens of billions of taxpayer dollars because of the Iran War.

We had a fantastic town hall last night at Sylvan Brewing in Fillmore County. It became standing room only and we had to overflow into the hallway!

But the work isn't over. We have 98 big days until the general election, and there's a lot more to do. If everyone keeps pushing by donating their time and their treasure, we’re going to get this done. Together.

When we announced this campaign 467 days ago, most people thought we didn’t have a chance. They looked at our "Safe R" district, chuckled, and wrote us off as an earnest but doomed attempt.

Earlier this month, I got to walk in a lot of 4th of July parades, and one of them was my amazing hometown's Stewartville Summerfest Grand Parade, regarded by many as the greatest small town parade in southern Minnesota.

Some may call this post late. I just say that we should celebrate America’s 250th birthday all month long!
