Yankees won the World Series in 2009, and went out and traded their top prospect for Curtis Granderson. Yankees won in 1996 and went out and signed David Wells. Yankees won in 2000 and went out and signed Mike Mussina. Have to go out and get better.

Getting pitching would be great….getting offense IS CRUCIAL. We didn’t hit in the playoffs, we need a shake up to the lineup. Rolling out the same one could lead to the exact same result.

The Yankees trading for Fernando Tatis would be the biggest trade since Arod….more monumental and impactful than Soto. Changes everything.

If the Yankees got Tatis, it would be history altering.

Smart move for Devin….he will have no high leverage situations whatsoever playing for the Mets the next three years.
