It’s been such a signifier of my trip to Disneyland so far! I’m finally here after so long of wanting to visit! Just to see Monsters Inc for the first and last time..

It’s not incredible by any means but it’s definitely got its charms. It remains extra special for me - I ADORED the film growing up and I remember watching POVs of the ride as a kid. It’s just one of those you get weirdly obsessed with over time…

It’s an incredibly weird feeling to do a ride for the first time on the very day it’s announced to be closing forever. I feel I’ve waited more than half my life to ride this thing!…

Hot take: Geister Rikscha is actually pretty great. Even in it's current dilapidated state, it has a real charm. And despite some obvious similarities to Disney's Haunted Mansion, the Chinese mythology theme makes it unique. I'm gonna be a bit sad when it inevitably closes.
