@JakeSanders92 @karthikadhaigal I’m not concerned one bit but without the CL money, clubs won’t overspend, if he didn’t get the players he wanted it’s because after the first 10 games they hit terrible form and missed out on top 4.

Ange Postecoglou: When you look around the expenditure, especially around wages, Tottenham aren't a big club. When we finished fifth I wanted Neto, Semenyo, Mbuemo & Guehi and we signed Solanke and three teenagers. Strong stuff from former Tottenham boss.

Perhaps if he got 2 points more and finished in the top 4 he would have got some of those, it’s not strong stuff at all, he failed to get top 4 and the club acted accordingly; he gave them an excuse, Spurs fans can’t complain either because they wanted to lose to City and it cost them top 4.

The worst manager in Tottenham's history has finally gone. The turgid football. Woeful home form. Two wins in 17 games. Calling out the fans constantly. The Arsenal stuff. Didn't talk the talk in press conferences and didn't walk the walk on the pitch.

Tottenham being in a relegation battle isn't surprising. The results have been terrible since November - 12 points from 17 games. The warning signs have been there for months, the league table has finally caught up.
