Crazy to think an SEC officiating crew missing a blatant holding call on the final play of a game ultimately left ND out.

We’ve had bad pass interference calls all weekend and some missed PI calls. But the one in the Texans-Colts game was very bad. Blatant disregard of the rule when legs get tangled. And on top of that they missed a delay of game before the ball was snapped. NFL has to do something about this.

Wasn’t expecting this to reach as many people as it has, but I just want to say thank you to all. The outpouring of prayers and kind words has meant more than I can express. Update: My wife and I were able to locate what was left of our RV about half a mile down river. Seeing the wreckage made it hard to dwell on what we lost. Our loss feels so small compared to the unimaginable grief of those who lost loved ones and to those who don’t have the means to recover. We’ve been returning each day to help with cleanup and recovery efforts, and what we’ve witnessed is nothing short of extraordinary. This community is resilient beyond words. Amid the debris, we’re discovering the remains of those who lost everything. These moments are haunting and will stay with us forever. The strength and compassion we see around us is what gives us the will to keep going. To everyone who’s reached out to help us financially: We’re so grateful and will not forget your kindness. But, if you’re able, we ask that you redirect that generosity towards those who are in far greater need. I’ll be looking out for any GoFundMe initiatives that will go directly to help victims who lost far more than we did. In the meantime, there are a plethora of organizations doing incredible work side-by-side with us on the ground. The Kerr County Flood Relief Fund is set up to distribute funding to non-profit organizations and first responder agencies who have been instrumental in recovery efforts. cftexashillcountry.fcsuite.com/erp/donate/cre… Kerrville Pets Alive is also going around to ensure pet owners who lost their homes have the food and supplies they need to care for their pets. They are also housing lost animals and tirelessly looking to reunite them with their families. kerrvillepetsalive.com/donations/ Anything you give to support this recovery will forever be appreciated by everyone affected by this disaster.

My wife and I have been staying at Blue Oak RV Park in Kerrville, TX. Our spot was on the elevated second level of the park about 150-200 yards away from the river. I happened to be awake around 4:30am when I heard screaming outside. I rushed outside to see the flood beginning to wash away the RVs in the lower level. I ran back inside, woke my wife up, and told her to quickly get ready and evacuate. We were out of the RV within 2 minutes and the water had already spilled over into the upper level of the park. My wife and I, along with the owners and other people who were staying there, began helping neighbors where we could, knocking on doors, trying to wake people up, directing people to safety and assisting first responders who were beginning to arrive. Quickly, the waters made it impossible to intervene anymore and within minutes we watched as the flood washed away the remaining RVs. Houses and RVs from up river swept through the park. We heard screaming and cries for help as families and children were taken by the waters. By the time we could locate them and try to find something to throw or provide help in any way, they were gone. The first 3 videos posted here happened within 20 minutes. The cries for help and screams, knowing there was absolutely nothing that we could do is something that will haunt all of us forever. My wife and I are blessed and thankful to be alive. While we lost all of our possessions, we are among the lucky ones because so many people lost more than just possessions. There are still so many people missing. To see the community come together in the hours and days following to help with search and rescue, debris cleanup, and general support has been so encouraging and beautiful to witness. The victims and those directly involved are dealing with unimaginable loss but are still looking for ways to help their neighbors. Then there are the unfortunate instances of people, who have absolutely no idea what is actually happening on the ground, looking for a way to use this as ammunition to blame whichever side of the aisle they disagree with and even going as far to blame victims. As someone directly involved, we are all just trying to help find those who are missing, help find pets, and locate any remnant of belongings that we or our neighbors have lost. We’re trying to fix the problem and not the blame. Yes there were tools that could’ve been installed to prevent some of this and I’m sure those measures will be taken in response to this tragedy. There were alerts sent to phones between 3:00 and 4:00am of flood potential in the area. These alerts are not uncommon and people can easily become desensitized to these alerts when usually they result in little to no damage. This was also in the middle of the night when most people are sleeping and occurred on one of the busiest weekends of the year at the river. It was historic and unexpected by all of those involved. No one wanted to lose their belongings. No one wanted to lose their life. All I can ask of anyone at this time is to please take a moment to think before you assume you know who to blame or what went wrong. There are hundreds and thousands of people who could use your prayers and help if you can provide it. There are 0 people involved who could use your opinion.

Thank you @Pacers.. This season was a lot of fun. Fresh off of an Eastern Conference finals appearance last year.. nobody, outside of Indy, expected shit from this team. So when they stumbled out of the gates, everybody wrote them off.. then the All Star break came and went and all of a sudden, DON’T LOOK NOW, The Pacers became the hottest team in basketball. They were counted out.. overlooked.. voted overrated.. and they showed up in the biggest moments EVERY DAMN TIME (except for tonight.. obviously) We’re all bummed for Tyrese.. actually sick to our stomachs for him.. He was playing thru a lot for this city, and ultimately will have to sacrifice his entire life to get back healthy to try and do it all again. I appreciate the hell out of him, Pascal, TJ, Obi, Myles, Nembhard, Nesmith, Mathurin, JJ, TB13, Sheppard, Thomas Bryant, Coach Tricky Ricky Carlisle and his staff.. This city came together and was insanely joyful while rallying around this gritty team. It was truly a HELL OF A RIDE. This city will be very grateful forever. CONGRATS TO OKC on becoming NBA Champions. Your team and fanbase were first class. WELL EARNED.
