Devon Allen Invitational 2026 - 400m lane #6 (49.35 PR) I definitely fixed part of my race strategy, that being my start of my race. I am very proud of how I performed getting a big PR. I died the last 50 m but that is fixable and I can’t wait to race next week #AGTG #Brophy

TRACK & FIELD / Tanner Bice reset his own school record in the triple jump with a best of 45-3 to finish second and extend his record from 44-8. He also finished third in the long jump (22-0.5) and second in the high jump (6-5) with the fourth-best performance in school history.

The Devon Allen AMDG Invite last night was an exceptionally strong meet! Lots of great teams and performances! New AZ State Leads Girls - 100m, 400m, 100mHH, 4x100m, 4x400m, PV Boys - 100m, 400m, 4x100m, 4x400m That’s 10 current state leads in one evening! 🏃‍♀️ 🏃‍♂️ 🌵 🔥

Aztec Invitational - 200m, lane #1 (22.39 PR)- I think there’s a lot of room for growth. My start and form didn’t feel the best but even with that I PR’d big. And I see more PR’s in the future.

Aztec Invitational - 100m lane #7 (11.14 PR) - very proud of my performances today but in 100m, my form was the best part and led me to win this race and PR, heavily beating my season goal first meet.

Aztec Invitational - 4x100m Lane 5. 42.72. Another season’s best in the 4x1. Not as good of a handoff as last time, but still did really good and made that gap in the last leg.

Brophy/Xavier JV meet - 4x1 in lane #4 (43.48) March 4. I anchored the 4x1, and we won the race and meet. I received a strong hand off from Heman Edmond to finish the race.

Ron Mann Classic – 200m Lane #3 22.95 PR Came into this race feeling amazing. The best part of my race was the curve; I would say one of my strong suits. As seen in the video, I stiffened up at the end, and I think if I work on staying relaxed, I can shave off more time.

Ron Mann Classic – 60m Lane #2 (7.26 PR) Came into this race with a good mentality and hyped up. Hit my goal for the indoor season. I can work on my explosion out of the blocks, but I think my form and long strides carried me through this race.

NAU Lumberjack Team Challenge - Jake Shaff - 400m (51.10) Not exactly what I wanted for my first 400m, but I can’t complain for a preseason opener. My first 100–150m needs work. Going forward I will focus on my start of the 400m. I’m excited for this new season.

Going into track pre-season, working hard and getting into track shape after football season. Track Pr goals for this season - 400m - 48.5 200m - 22.4 100m - 11.2 4x4 - 3:13 low Overall, I’m ready to put the work in for these big goals this upcoming season.

First sack of the season for me and the D line, really growing into my new position.

Rising sophomore Jake Shaff finished eighth in the Freshman 400 meters (51.63) at Nike Outdoor Nationals at Hayward Field. He also ran in the 100-meter Freshman race. He finished the season second on the all-time 400-meter freshman list (50.74, Tiger Invitational). @bcpdistance
