But I think the Sox also had some idea what they were getting into when they signed Anderson to an extension a year or two in and signed Abreu 😉. I also think Moncada can become a MUCH better player than both. Which I think is agreed upon.

But then again, I was called all kinds of names here when three years ago I told people on the record Tim Anderson would be a .300 hitter and an all-star. And that Abreu would be Top 20 in average as a rookie, among numerous odd takes I've had and been criticized for. =)

Give me Yoan Moncada over every one of these third basemen. I'm 100 percent serious. The disrespect is real.
