One of the most consistently mocked scenes in Attack of the Clones is the allegedly hilarious level of redundancy in planning the assassination of Padme in her apartment on the part of Jango Fett.
Instead of directly trying to kill Padme he sends Zam Wesell who sends a droid that sends worms. Ridiculous, right?
No, and the end result almost immediately proved the wisdom in Jango's caution, because within about two minutes of the assassination attempt, the Jedi had already penetrated three whole layers of the redundancies due to immediately destroying the worms and Obi-Wan grabbing the droid as it fled right to Zam.
If Jango had neglected even one of those layers, he would have been caught.
