Farke says this might be the toughest injury update of the season.
Gruev, Okafor, Gudmundsson and Bogle are definitely out. Buonanotte ineligible. Struijk is yet to train. Ampadu is ill and considered a major doubt. #lufc
Ampadu peerless once again. Nobody's played more this term. Nobody's been more consistent. He's developed into a proven Premier League performer.
With survival secured, he needs a statement contract. Latest round of talks planned before end of week. #lufcnytimes.com/athletic/72720…
@BerenCross@TheAthleticFC What a great season, club deserves so much credit for their strategy. We could’ve been slamming them now, gambled hard and it’s paid off.
Leeds United will play in the Premier League next season.

There’s a foul on todibo, mavropanos AND the West Ham goalie. But they rule it out for an arm across the goalie.
Fair play Arsenal it’s a huge result and guaranteed them the title but I don’t wanna hear winging about refs after that and the atleti game. They’re getting away with murder.
@Dave00148254594@talkaboutlufcv2 Yeah big time, but everyone is in the same boat because of how FFP favours the top 6. It’s brutal, even Villa, you wouldn’t be surprised if they have to sell Rogers in the summer. It’s a broken model for anyone outside the top 6
@JakeyRiley@talkaboutlufcv2 I don’t want to be a Brighton Brentford or Bournemouth it’s ok for a few seasons to establish but I want to eventually break into that top 6 on a regular basis and be one of the teams poaching the talent
Daniel Dubois was given 30 seconds to name as many British heavyweight champions of the 21st century as possible 🍿

@L33dsFan@talkaboutlufcv2 That’s how you get £50m you dipstick. And yes, players are likely to leave like every club outside the top 6 have to witness year on year.
@JakeyRiley@talkaboutlufcv2 You’re the one who mentioned players are likely to leave, Okafor likely to go and us getting 50m for him. Now you’re saying he’s got a contract and we don’t need to sell? Are you ok?? 🥲
@ConorNigel@RyanGarcia Every time you speak you make yourself look worse and worse. Luke Campbell is an Olympian who would’ve beaten you if you ever fought at the same weight class. Garcia has fought much better people than you. You’ll lose that fight
Got floored by Luke Campbell quit against woman beating gervumpalumpa and got bashed by rolly. I will beat you 💯 per cent and i will get that wbc world title NEXT. Let’s run it @RyanGarcia
@EthanFromOnline I think you’re spot on. Big problem and will always catch him out. Would really like to see a Tanaka, Ampadu & Longstaff midfield 3 on Monday
And similar has happened the last 2 seasons with Farke, be it because of form or injury, the team has needed a change or 2 but the viable options are players who have built up little rhythm/match fitness.
It's one of my biggest complaints about DF all in all.
One thing that worries me a bit with Leeds is we're now in a spot where we could do with Longstaff to replace Stach, but he's been left out in the cold for months. It's a lot to ask at crunch time. #LUFC 1/2
England are not in the class of France, Argentina or Spain. But they do have some exceptional talent. Jude Bellingham and Harry Kane are world class. So is John Stones - at his best. Trent Alexander-Arnold is world class - in possession. Declan Rice is having the season of his life. There are more reasons to be positive going into this tournament than negative. But England have to be bold and play to their strengths.
Imagine if England were bold and, if all fit, went into the World Cup…
Pickford; Alexander-Arnold, Stones, Guehi, O’Reilly; Anderson, Rice; Saka, Bellingham, Gordon; Kane.
Stones would have some covering to do of Alexander-Arnold when he raced upfield. Bellingham gets heavily scrutinised but he’s a big-game player, a winner and used to pressure at Real Madrid. He has to start. England also have an exceptional head coach in Thomas Tuchel who can make the right changes at the right time. England have a chance of progressing to the quarter-finals of the World Cup and then anything’s possible. But only if they are bold. Not gung-ho. But bold. Risk/reward. #ENG
