@GregoriRomani Honestly, i've landed clients just from going the extra mile. There are better editors than me, being have strong communication skills and a clear passion for the project goes a long way!

most editors are replaceable because they have no real point of view. they finish the project -> hit the deadline -> get paid. rinse repeat. no real aesthetic or taste, no interest in whether the video is actually good that's "the client's problem." that's why a HUNDRED of them will apply to your job post for $5/hour and deliver something forgettable. the ones who treat it like an artform, who actually lose sleep over a bad cut, those are rare. and it shows in the work. been off here for a bit making sure i'm in that second category.
