Playing two large, slow, bad skating defensemen together is a recipe for disaster If they are going to play Stanley, they need to pair him with Kesselring or Metsa And they are going to play him. They didn’t trade for him to sit him in the press box after 2 games

Yes, but also Stanley averaged 11 minutes per night in the playoffs last year and was healthy scratched. Played fewer than 10 minutes in four of his eight games. The Jets decided during the playoffs that beef wasn't worth having on the ice.

Wish a Sabres player was on Canada to make it more fun but we get three weeks of team fucking USA and that already rocks. Grew up on miracle on ice and remember sitting in my neighbors house watching 2014 when I was in elementary school!

@Matt_Bove I know it’s the times, shoot I’m 30 I grew up with the changes. Feels like media and TV are going backwards. To watch anything you need a subscription, usually multiple. Most have 3-5 different ones. Ends up costing the same as cable. But cable has nothing on cuz they want a sub

For what it’s worth, I’m told the Sabres will be heading in the same direction as the Bills whenever their season comes to an end. That doesn’t necessarily mean games won’t be on WGR 550 in the future, but other radio stations will have a chance to air the games.

@James10722 I’m not interested in trading Norris. When healthy, he drives play, makes plays and defends well. He had the Midas Touch. Jarmo would be wise to add veteran playoff experience at center to bolster 5v5 and PP scoring. Thomas and/or Trocheck will add immediate value #SabreHood ⚔️
