@thonlyonee Taxing would reduce the total amount of advertising and could be counterbalanced by reducing taxes in other areas.
English

@JamesADamore I agree with what you've written on this; we can do except taxing. This would be passed on to the consumer and, in my opinion, would not be an effective countermeasure.

More seriously, the recent dismantling of DEI programs shows how a legal/political push can cause a preference (falsification) cascade, akin to the USSR's sudden collapse after Berlin's Wall fell.
Rather than revealing an objective truth about DEI, this reflects the cyclical nature of cultural trends:
cool→mainstream→oppressive→overthrown→rebellious→cool again

@Chris34259480 With 2 players, you pick first 3 times and second 3 times so you'll always have at least 15 cards (3 * 3 + 3 * 2), which is how much you need.
With 3 players, you pick second twice so you'll always have at least 16 cards.
English

@JamesADamore Can you prove that after enough rounds all players will have enough cards to form a sufficient number of hands? Suppose someone always picks a row or column with two cards... Is he or she always forced to eventually get more cards to have sufficient cards for the scoring round?

I created a quick poker game for 2-3 drafters using a standard deck of cards.

@GregoryMakles Yep, if you really want those 2 cards. Note, for 3 players, the third person to choose gets all the remaining 3-4 cards in the grid.
English

@Chris34259480 You pick in order and you can choose a row/column that only has 2 cards remaining if you really want those 2 cards. For 3 players, the third person to choose gets all the remaining 3-4 cards from the grid.
English

@JamesADamore Once someone picks a row or column... You can no longer pick some rows or columns. I assume you go in order and must pick any REMAINING row or column of at leadt 3. Is correct?
English

@GregoryMakles You're correct, the next player has to choose a different row/column and the game supports only 2-3 players for that reason.

Facebook bragged about doubling their number of female employees since 2019, but didn’t mention that it was from doubling their total workforce…
