@MartinSLewis @KemiBadenoch We are often first-generation university attendees with good but not exceptional incomes, no family wealth, and typical living costs. If fairness is the goal, shouldn’t reform consider both affordability (thresholds) and lifetime repayment outcomes (interest structure)?

Pleased to say @KemiBadenoch has kindly invited me to go and meet her to discuss Student Loans later today. I'm looking forward to a useful policy discussion and thankful for the opportunity to make something positive come out of this, after an inauspicious start (by me). PS I have also requested to discuss Student Finance with the Chancellor (where the key focus is the unfair freeze on Plan 2 repayment thresholds coming next April)

@DVLAgovuk it's been over 10 weeks since I sent my application by post, because YOU changed the rules disallowing change of address at the test centre. Absolute Joke that applying online is less thank 2 weeks, and I had my v5c in 4 DAYS.... pull the boot out.

@JamesAidaan That was logged on a Fenix 6 but I also run an Element ROAM computer so I can see live data as well. The watch is usually a backup in case the computer fails for some reason

You can bypass this by either pushing 3 local DNS servers to fill the DNS list. Alteratively you can just DNAT port 53 outbound to your local DNS.

So after spending a reasonable amount of time trying to solve a DNS issue resolving machines on my local network... Turns out from Android PIE onwards, Google injects 8.8.8.8 into your list of DNS servers for every connection. That's utterly ridiculous.
