🇨🇦 The dollar amount allocated to education by the Ford government in Ontario has INCREASED. However, if you consider change in enrolment and inflation, then education funding has actually DECREASED. Teachers implement policy. Why should they be ignored? financialpost.com/opinion/matthe…

How do teachers really feel about their jobs? OECD data show: ➡️ Nine in ten teachers say they’re satisfied with their jobs ➡️ 95% of teachers say they often feel happy while teaching. See the TALIS report: bit.ly/46UFRCS #TALIS #Teachers #Teaching

🇨🇦 Alberta has some of the lowest per-student funding in Canada. Teachers haven't always had a good relationship with the government there. And now, parents/families do not trust the teachers. What is going on? cbc.ca/news/canada/ca…

This is current debate in Canada. Suggestions include reducing time it takes to become a teacher; more practicum experience; making it easier for those with ANY degree to become teacher. My take: B.Ed degree [with theory & practicum] remains best pathway to teaching profession.

Can alternative pathways into teaching help tackle teacher shortages? With traditional teacher preparation programmes struggling to keep up with demand, some countries turn to non‑traditional routes to attract new talent. 🎧 Learn more in Top Class: bit.ly/3ZUwaBp

At 1884 Berlin Conference, a few men sat in a room and partitioned Africa among themselves. They became the colonial powers. (In Namibia, Germans killed over 50% of the population; the Belgians killed over a million people in the Congo). The mindset is being demonstrated today.

Trump: "I do believe I'll be having the honor of taking Cuba. That's a big honor. Taking Cuba in some form. I think I can do anything I want with it, if you want to know the truth."

Reporting by pro-genocide media outlets, particularly Sky News and BBC, has changed dramatically since the attack on Iran. Just a few weeks ago, it was unimaginable for them to say 'Israel has killed...'
Sky News@SkyNews

Israel has killed 12 medical workers in a strike on a medical centre in south Lebanon. The facility was attacked on Friday night, bringing the toll of medical staff to 31 killed in the past 12 days. Sky's @CordeliaSkyNews reports Live updates: trib.al/RYh6mjC

What you are saying is what Iran did. They prepared for war. Many USA presidents (and Israel, that controls USA Middle East policy) have stated that all options are on the table regarding Iran. They saw President Bush war on Iraq kill one million civilians. So, they prepared.

Iran is attempting to put a dagger to the throat of the world economy. We in Britain must remember what the Romans taught us: if you want peace, prepare for war. My column in @thetimes 👇 thetimes.com/business/econo…
