@ysolatetly @_ilan13 Spent about 10 years pirating. I’m no stranger. I opt for convenience now. Which means up-front convenience. I don’t care about the long run

@JamesAnderson_2 @_ilan13 You can achieve the same amount of convenience by investing into a small home lab with a server. Gonna be 99% cheaper in the long run. In Big 2026 there is no excuse to not be technical

@JohnnyGaming9 I think it’s something that should make PS5 players happy. I don’t think Xbox and PC players should be (or will be) upset about it

A fact that will upset Xbox and PC players: PS5 is the only place where you can play all of these games this year in 2026. 🤷🏾‍♂️

@skypbookie Not an illustrator but when I do graphic design I always use a canvas 2 or 3 times larger than its intended use. Makes attention to detail much easier

@JohnDoe59659341 @DynamoSuperX To be honest I hadn’t thought of where it might have originated. Decimal pricing is so normal it’s weird to think of a time where that didn’t happen

@JamesAnderson_2 @DynamoSuperX I'm not saying it's 100% the reason it was adopted but it is a reason (the primary one) to set the precedent. If those countries followed the example purely for the observed psychology/boosted sales data (or even as an attractive trend) there is no contradiction.

@DynamoSuperX I think its cus tax is on the dollar, so fo 5.99 youd pay 5$ worth of tax instead of 6$, so it appeals to people more

@JohnDoe59659341 @DynamoSuperX Your theory doesn’t work in countries that don’t have sales tax applied at checkout. The simplest answer is usually the correct one

@DynamoSuperX Oh for godsake, does truly nobody know the reason? It isn't to make the price look lower, it's to save the customer a few cents in sales tax as a small favor/incentive (what do they care about earning Uncle Sam more?). When the dollar was more valuable it was a bigger perk.
