We recently made some significant updates to make it easier for people to create and sell in Marketplace. We've been closely monitoring feedback from our community, and appreciate your engagement. Taking all of this into account, we wanted to touch base and share an update. Stay tuned because we'll soon be hosting a Creator AMA to address any additional questions you might have. 📈 MARKETPLACE KEEPS GROWING Over the past few years, the number of avatar items created has grown tremendously with millions of users visiting daily buying billions of items each year. One week after opening up creation, we’ve seen over 2X growth in new virtual items being created, including free Limiteds growing 4X, along with thousands of users becoming new Marketplace creators. 🛡 PROTECTING CREATIONS We have systems in place to protect creation on Marketplace as more creators join: • Creators now need to be ID-verified and consistently follow our Community Standards and policies • Users can report inappropriate items with reporting tools that are everywhere on the platform and within experiences • We have heard many raising issues around intellectual property (IP). The examples you see may not actually infringe on IP for a variety of reasons. PSA: Reports of Acquisition Scams Roblox has received reports of a recent scam targeting Roblox Creators. According to the reports, the perpetrators contact Creators through third-party sites and offer to purchase their Experience(s). The perpetrators then allegedly supply Creators with purchase contracts that contain fake personally identifiable information. After the creators transfer the Experiences to them, they do not provide the promised payment. Since these alleged scams are taking place on third-party sites, Roblox is unable to verify the veracity of the allegations and is unlikely to be able to assist defrauded Creators. Roblox encourages Creators to always be cautious and aware of the risks involved with conducting business outside of the platform. If you or anyone you know has been a victim of this or any other scam, please do not hesitate to contact your local authorities. You may also wish to consult an attorney.

My Pixel 7 Pro has been experiencing really uncomfortable lag on any game I've played on Roblox ever since I got it. I thought this was normal until today that I saw that my friends budget Samsung phone was running Roblox perfectly fine with 0 lag on max graphics. I then looked back at some old screen recordings I had with my old Samsung phone (I had the same phone my friend has right now) and noticed how much smoother you could see it ran Roblox, the difference was massive... there was literally 0 noticeable lag. I assume that this is a bug on Roblox's end, since literally 0 other games I've ever played on my phone have ever experienced any lag. I've submitted a support ticket and hope that they escalate this as soon as possible. 🙏
