I've left office today..March 4, 1861. It's sad because as soon as I left the southern states seceded. Congrats to Ab Lincoln and good luck!

The southern states are trying to secede from the nation, I'm trying to compromise but they don't want to make a deal.

I love my parents James Buchanan Sr. and Elizabeth Speer. Also I love my 10 siblings a lot, luckily I'm the second oldest.

I was born April 23, 1791 as James Buchanan Jr. in Cove Gap, Pennsylvania.
