So, momentous news to share today: it's my last day at EY. I'm sad but also super excited for the future. I'm incredibly proud of the team I've built up, and I'm very grateful for the kindness of all the people at EY over the last decade. I'm also proud and happy to share that Clare Adelgren, my deputy for the last few years, is taking on the role of Global Blockchain Leader. I cannot imagine a person better prepared for this role. There's lots more cool stuff happening for me, and I'll share some of that in the near future once it's fully baked.

I finally secured EFS.eth which has been a dream of mine for years! 🖖 It will serve as the base immutable URL for the Ethereum File System, allowing users to access and link to @efs_project data trustlessly. I am the happiest cypherpunk in the world today 🤓

This Trustless Manifesto perfectly captures why I'm building in this space and I just signed it onchain which was fun. My Ethereum File System project checks all of the boxes already which warms my cypherpunk heart ❤️‍🔥 We must resist the drift toward centralization that comes from convenience and platforms. Our goal isn't to build more efficient middlemen, it's to build trustless systems that make them unnecessary 🫡

I'm on board with this. I've had half a dozen moments in my life where I'm with someone and we just look at each other and know we just had the same thought. And not just a reaction to something. We picked up on the same completely random thought. Maybe we are just an awareness reading our external idea feed and choosing how or whether to react.

@fabinrasheed I had this recent realization of thoughts and ideas already being in the ether and when someone has the same idea as me, we just jumped onto the same wavelength that thought was at. If that is the case, then thoughts and ideas are not individually our own.

The idea of 5 senses is so wrong. We have at least 14. sight hearing taste smell touch temperature hunger/satiety thirst thoughts - you can tell what you are thinking proprioception - position of your body nociception - damage detection muscle fatigue - tired muscles and lactic acid buildup acceleration - via the inner ear, used for balance CO2 - your lungs detect carbon dioxide directly to make you breathe A likely more I haven't even thought of.
