@JamesChapple That would depend on whether it was a continuation of the story, or a reimagined version, like Battlestar Galactica...

So because I didn't have internet for 6 weeks, I found myself going through my blu-ray/DVD collection. I just finished this gem from 1995. Some really solid episodes, this show was ahead of it's time. It's really begging for a modern remake!!#spaceaboveandbeyond

@TheFilmScorer I was in my 20's & I wasn't as keyed into the composer community as I am now, but I think it was well regarded. I've had to use it as a ref on animated shows (bullet time type of scenes), because it is such a pop culture touchstone. I think that speaks to the quality of the score

@JamesChapple I wonder what the reaction was to the score at the time (I was fairly young when it came out) because even now its novel nature surprises me I don’t remember exactly what happened, but he seemed to have moved away from scoring for film not long afterward

Listening to the brand new 25th Anniversary version of Don Davis's score to The Matrix and good lord what a score, every time I hear it I'm blown away

@JamesChapple Bobby and Christopher had a podcast for a while called @talkingsopranos - worth a listen if you want to linger in that space a while longer. Its overall quality varies from episode to episode but the cast interviews and reminiscences are consistently great.

Ok so I finally finished The Sopranos. I can see why it is considered one of the all-time greatest shows. It lived up to all the hype. And that ending!!! I loved every minute of it and will miss hanging out with Tony and his crew.#thesopranos #sopranos
